uGetting to Chongqing

By Air: Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG) has extensive domestic and international flights. Take the airport express (Light Rail Line 3 or 10) for a convenient transfer to the city center.

 

By High-Speed Rail (HSR): Chongqing has several major stations, primarily Chongqing North and Chongqing West, connecting it to key cities across China via the HSR network.

 

uGetting Around the City

Light Rail (Metro): The most highly recommended and efficient way to explore. Lines 2 and 3 are especially scenic, offering river and city views.

 

Public Bus: Extensive network and cheap, but can be complex for visitors unfamiliar with the routes.

 

Taxi/Ride-Hailing (Didi): Convenient for point-to-point travel. Be aware of potential traffic jams during peak hours in the city center.

 

Walking: Necessary to experience the city's charm, but be prepared for constant uphill and downhill walking.
