Day 2 Beijing
Morning |
After breakfast, we will go to visit the Tiananmen Square. We will enter the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall to pay respects to Chairman Mao's remains
(Reminder: If tickets are sold out or the hall is closed for policy reasons, it will be changed to an exterior view by default, without separate notification, and no ticket refunds will be available. Please understand).

In the morning, we will visit the Palace Museum (estimated visiting time of about 120 minutes). It is the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, formerly known as the Forbidden City, located at the center of Beijing's central axis, and is the essence of ancient Chinese court architecture. The Beijing Palace Museum, centered on the Three Great Halls, has more than seventy palaces of various sizes and over nine thousand rooms, making it one of the largest and best-preserved wooden-structured ancient architectural complexes in the world. The buildings within the Forbidden City are divided into the Outer Court and the Inner Court. The center of the Outer Court is the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Preserving Harmony, collectively known as the Three Great Halls, which are where the state holds grand ceremonies. The center of the Inner Court is the Qianqing Palace, the Jiaotai Palace, and the Kunning Palace, collectively known as the Rear Three Palaces, which are the main palace where the emperor and empress lived. The Beijing Palace Museum is hailed as the top among the world's five great palaces (Beijing Palace Museum, French Palace of Versailles, British Buckingham Palace, American White House, Russian Kremlin).

Afternoon |
In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven Park, a sacred place for sacrifices to heaven (estimated visiting time of about 90 minutes). The Temple of Heaven Park was built in the 18th year of Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, covering an area of 273 hectares. This park was where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties sacrificed to heaven and prayed for a bountiful harvest every year, and it is the largest preserved sacrificial architectural complex in China.

Reminders:
The Palace Museum is closed all day on Mondays. Except for Mondays, the Palace Museum implements a real-name ticket reservation system 7 days in advance through its official website. The number of tickets open to the public nationwide each day is limited, so our agency cannot guarantee that the tour group can definitely reserve tickets for the Palace Museum during the trip. If tickets cannot be reserved, the ticket fee will be refunded on the spot, and our agency will not make any further refunds or compensation, nor will we accept any complaints arising from Palace Museum tickets. If guests fail to enter due to not carrying their ID cards for their own reasons, the consequences will be borne by themselves. If students or children do not have ID cards, please bring their household registration books to enter.

Its superb architectural techniques and immortal artistic value fully demonstrate the wisdom and strength of ancient Chinese working people. Climb the 888-meter Hero's Slope to experience the grandeur of 'He who has not been to the Great Wall is not a true hero.'
