Zhuhai City, a prefecture-level city and sub-provincial-level center under Guangdong Province, is classified as a Type II large city. Located in southern Guangdong Province, it sits on the western bank of the Pearl River estuary, bordering the South China Sea. The city covers 1,725 square kilometers of land area, with 9,348 square kilometers of territorial waters within the baseline. It administers three districts: Xiangzhou, Doumen, and Jinwan.

The Zhuhai Yu Hotspring Resort (Zhuhai Yuwenquan Dujiacun) features a myriad of hot spring pools, some infused with traditional Chinese medicines, some with coffee, wine or mint as well as a selection of over ten indoor VIP hot spring rooms. The Zhuhai resort's rustic grounds are dotted by cottages, rockeries, waterfalls and small bridges giving the area the traditional Chinese version of a pastoral feel.
Guests can choose from a variety of rooms including standard rooms, multilevel rooms with sitting rooms and deluxe suites. When it comes time to indulge in the hotel's considerable list of recreational facilities, guests will find a variety of saunas and over 40 massage rooms at their disposal.
